Kardashian Loving

There is no doubt about it, all the Kardashian women have an amazing sense of style! I was beyond ecstatic when I found out they had a clothing line at Sears... as if my shopping habits aren't bad enough... But I got a ton of their stuff on sale, the wrap dress I'm wearing alone was only $12!

My boyfriend just started his own online business so shopping from his site was one way to help him launch it. Sears was one of the affiliated stores, which meant my access to to the Kardashian line. It was the perfect fit! Here's his website if you'd like to check it out- Cassidy Inc. It's definitely a new adventure for us but I couldn't be more proud.

And just like normal WA weather, can't have sunshine with out a little rain. But that's ok, that just means I can wear boots year round. :) xo

Working for the weekend

And my work week is almost over! Every time Friday rolls around, I hear my theme song playing, you know.."everyone's working for the weekend..." It's true, at least it is in my case. I love my 9-5 job but the weekends are just more my thing.

One of the perks of my job is all the outfits I get to wear. I never thought I was a "business attire" type until I got into the mortgage business. Every morning its a party as I comb through my closet to see what I can put together for the day, and how I can spice up the normal office attire. The one thing I have learned, is that black and white will never go out of style.

Confessions of a shopaholic

The look on my boyfriend's face when I try and explain to him how irritating it is when you order 2 bathing suits online and they don't fit right... bless his heart. I don't know what was more hilarious, the fact that he just didn't understand the struggle of it or the fact that he was in shock I needed more bathing suits when I live in WA, a state where its more common to see rain than sunshine. He ended the conversation by telling me I'm a shopaholic and I need shopping anonymous. Which is slightly true... but in my defense, I'm a bargain shopper so my shopping sprees never exceed $75. That's fair right?

That was besides the point, but it did inspire this blog post for me. Today is all about my shopping confessions.

1. I shop when I'm upset. Just like when people go to the gym or eat ice cream I turn to shopping.
2. I love a good bargain. I pride myself on finding versatile pieces that look expensive or extravagant for a deal.
3. I shop because I am constantly inspired by the smallest details i.e. the sky, the color of some one's nail polish, a TV show for the 90's, magazines, etc
4. I like the idea of options, if a certain piece doesn't work here it will work there.
5. I only shop after all my bills have been paid and there's money left over. I could be better at saving, but hey what's the point of working hard if I can't spend it? :)

A Little Pep in My Step

And Washington has finally hit the 60's!! Well at least for today and I couldn't have been happier. It's the little things that count and right now, the weather hitting 60 degrees is making my heart bounce out of its cage.

A lot of changes are coming for me in the next 6 months, including moving out of my gorgeous place with my best friend and into my boyfriends apartment, which was such a huge decision for us both! It means I will have to down grade a lot of things, including my beloved closet and shoe collection... But I am beyond excited! I will miss this place but luckily I will be right down the street and will be bugging them weekly! :)

My current obsession for this summer are shift dresses: basic, simple and easy to put on when you are in a rush. I'm pretty sure I will be living in these this summer. I love the versatily of them, you can keep it casual or play it up. Either way, this is definitely a must have for me.

Wisconsin/Minnesota weekend diary

For a girl who has never been to the Midwest, I've frequent it a lot in the last 3 months! First Michigan, then Minnesota and now Wisconsin. It has been so much fun, and I've experienced enough snow for a lifetime. I am much more a sunny days, warm beach type of girl.

This time around, we spent valentines day in the Midwest to see my boyfriends dad and all his best buds. Talk about getting to know your other half. He took me to all his old stomping grounds and I got to experience a lot of things I would never even think to try! For example, driving on a frozen lake... Why that sounds fun I have no idea, but so awesome to experience! I saw tons of houses on the lake waiting around to catch fish, ice fishing is what they call it. Then as we were driving around the city, we ran into a family of deers! I have never seen so many up close before... Not to mention I even tried things like beer cheese soup? Who would have thought?

Here is a recap of my valentine's day weekend.

Spent Friday at the airport waiting on our flight..

Springtime in sight

Happy first day of spring my loves! And for anyone experiencing cold weather like Washington is, today means there is light at the end of the tunnel, or in our case sunshine. :)

Springtime normally means spring cleaning for me, packing up and donating winter clothes I won't use anymore and unpacking my spring/summer time clothes. I've gotta have faith that warm weather is coming!

Today's outfit is a combination of my springtime closet meets my wintertime closet. I am a bargain shopper to the max, so I always love a good deal and getting my money's worth. This dress was found on clearance last summer for just $12 from target! Target always amazes me with some of their deals and I love the quality of their clothes.
