Sun kissed glow.

TGIF my loves! :) In my previous post, I mentioned I was at a gala raising money for the hospital. Well, grand total came to 1.2 million dollars!!! What a generous crowd and fantastic event... but since then, work has taken over my life, hence the delay in outfit posts. There are so many changes coming, and I am so proud to say I got promoted! April has been great to me. Now, I can focus on summer time.

I love the simplicity of a little white dress. There are so many ways to style this baby that you will probably see me style it again. :) Here, I styled it perfect for those warm days at the office. I love that even at 7pm at night, the sun is still out. Hello summer, we meet again.

I got a new tattoo this past week "we accept the love we think we deserve" seems fitting for where I am in life. :) & I also burnt the side of my face on a curling iron. It's tough being a girl sometimes. Have a wonderful weekend dolls!

All that glitters is gold..

Sequin Saturday! I've had this dress in my closet since my birthday and have finally found an occasion to wear it! I love charity events, whether its music based or food based, a charity event is a wonderful excuse to have a good time and support a great cause! Today, my sister and I volunteered at her hospital's annual gala event to help raise money for their NICU department. It was a black tie event with the theme of "Essence of the Sea," colors were teal and coral. It was definitely a Saturday well spent.

The guests were impeccably dressed, men in suits and ladies dressed to impressed and the best part about it is that we raised so much money! (Final count coming soon) I'm use to people bidding based on $10 dollar increments but here, it was amazing how generous people were. For example, 8 suite seats to the Kenny Chesney concert this summer sold for $20,000! Wow! We greeted people, checked them in, and made sure they were enjoying themselves. I have to say the auction part was my favorite. The MC's were fantastic! They had the crowd involved and laughing the entire time. Now, 6 hours later I'm finally home and comfortable.

My dress is from Dorothy Perkins website and lately, I've been infatuated with old Hollywood glam hair and make up so that's what I tried to recreate today. :) Added some black stockings to keep it appropriate and my Kardashian heels from Sears (alot of standing was involved so I finally switched into flats).

Thanks for stopping by dolls! Happy Saturday!

Sunshine in the NW

Hello my lovely dolls! How are we all doing? Sun has come to the NW! Granted it's only 60 degrees, but to us Washingtonians that means tank tops and shorts! Or in my case, summer dresses galore.

"A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life"-- CoCo Chanel It took me a while to figure out what kind of changes I wanted to make in my life, but it always seems like my go to is a different hair style. I really wanted a bob cut, but when I sat down in the chair, I panicked! So I settled for a long bob and so far, I'm definitely loving it!

I found this adorable hi-low dress at ross for jus $15 dollars! At first I wasn't so sure about the colors just because its not my normal color scheme, but I was so happy with this purchase. It's still a little chilly out so it was the perfect dress to pair with some boots.
