Goodbye to 2014 and Hello to 2015!

I don't know what it is about the new year, but I feel like it truly is an ending to one chapter of your life and a beginning of the next. The 365 pages of 2014 have closed up and whether the pages were spilled with love or heartache, the book of 2014 are now just memories put on a shelf to be relived later on.

I took a break from blogging, simply because I felt like I was losing the route in which I started this. This is true. I started this blog 3 years ago and back then, I feel completely different than I do now. Things that were important or at the forefront of my life are now just pieces that have fallen in its place. I started this blog for my love of fashion (which will also be my first love) but as the responsibilities come with the age, I feel like my priorities have changed. I use to enjoy buying clothes (still do!) but i've watched my money be spent instead on traveling and learning to educated myself in things I never realized was so important. Things only being hands on can teach you. I want to inspire, that will never change, but I want to inspire more than one group of people. So for my new years resolution, I am going to continue to learn and invest in myself, experience things that I never dreamed possible, step outside my comfort and continue to grow. Fashion will always be apart of me, I just think its time to branch out a bit more.

With that being said, I think Austrailia or Mexico will be next on my list of places to visit. Happy New Years dolls, may it bring you happiness, love and success in all aspects of life! Cheers to memories being made.

Let's Play Catchup!

Holy cow! The last time I did an outfit post was about 6 weeks ago... how did time move that fast?? Let's play catch up dolls.

I am now officially settled in with my boyfriend in our adorable loft. I am really happy we made this decision. The only down side to being on the top floor during a Washington summer... is the heat! It has been a consistent 90 degrees in our apartment and we've now accumulated 4 fans, and have been sleeping next to our one window... That changed today when we made the best purchase yet, a portable AC machine! I am one happy girl right now.

Summer time means cute office outfits! I've had to downsize my closet drastically when we moved in together, I mean who knew sharing a closet would be so hard? But I did find things that I have forgotten about, including this cute striped shirt. :)

Outfit Details|| Striped Blouse: Ross (similar here and here) || Black Skinnies: Target here || Strappy Heels: Urban OG (similar here and here) || Purse: Michael Kors (gift) || Necklace & Earrings: Charlotte Russe

My boyfriend has agreed to help me be more consistent on my posts... next one will be when we are in Wisconsin! :) Gotta love having a boyfriend from out of state.

Have a wonderful week dolls!

Weekly round up: San Diego

When the ball dropped welcoming 2013, I never, in my wildest dreams, imagined my life would be where it is now. So much has changed and has happen that I am still amazed things have worked out this way.

I got the call from my boss Saturday night asking if I can spend the week in San Diego to help open up a new branch... There was no hesitation about that, I gladly accepted! And that is where I have been, working long hours to help open multiple branches throughout California. Here is my weekly round up. :)

I got dropped off at the airport with a cute little love note to get me going...
Sat next to a cute older couple, holding hands and completely in love.
Got set up in my own home away from home... (For those that know me, you probably find this humorous since you know I hardly cook.)
Outfit number 1: kept it casual with black jeans, a white blouse and blue cardigan.
Day 2: consists of a forever 21 dress, my favorite Charlotte Russe pumps, and a teal cardigan. Rest of the week got a little hectic and I forgot to take outfit pictures.

Long hours and lots of work but when I did get some down time I went straight to an Inn n Out! And even got to see some old and new friends.

This adorable pup is David (made me miss my puppy so much!)
Met my boyfriend's gorgeous sister, Lindsay who lives 5 minutes away from seaworld! That's definitely on my bucketlist... And then ended my trip with more Inn n Out.
Now I'm patiently waiting for my plane back home. This week has been such a blur but look out California, I may be back next month! :) I work such an amazing crew that I can't wait to come back.

Have a wonderful weekend dolls! Xoxo
