Pencil Skirt and Peplum

These few weeks have been flying by! Does anyone else feel that way? For the past two months, we have been entertaining guest from out of town left and right, and you know what it has been so much fun. I love my city. Especially when there is good weather, good company and good laughs to be had. 

The weather is getting a whole lot warmer, which means the cute office outfits get to come out of the closet to play! :)

Photo Diary: Ocean Shores, WA

This is what happens when you ask your boyfriend to take your outfit pictures... the view was just too amazing to not post, odds are you will be memorized by the ocean and the skies kissing rather than my awkward poses! :) I hope all you dolls had a wonderful and memorable Memorial Day Weekend. 

Half of this post will be my outfit of the day, and the other half is my photo diary of my weekend. It was short and sweet, but any excuse to leave the city, turn off the phone and just enjoy some quality time with my boyfriend I will take.

It was both our first time in Ocean Shores, WA and I must admit, it is a quaint and cute little town. Reminds me of a nice place to go when I retire, close to the beach and very quiet.

Originally this trip was a surprise, with a horse ride involved... but I spilt the beans and it was lucky I did, poor boy is allergic to horses!! Instead, we rode mopeds on the beach, explore the town, walked the beach and bar hopped. We even threw in a quick game of mini golf, of which I completely kicked butt (he will probably tell you otherwise) but you know how vacations are, always goes by too quick. Back to reality I go.

Nothing beats sitting on my front porch with my best friend, watching the kids play and listening to the sound of laughter around me. Not to mention it's nearly 7:30pm and it is 70 degrees outside... oh Washington you make my heart skip a beat. Moments like this is when I wish life had a pause button just so I can savor the feeling. Too bad we missed the ice cream man...

Where flowers bloom, so does Hope.

"Get over your hill and see what you find there, with grace in your heart and flowers in your hair." Did I mention I love Pinterest? So many creative minds in one place, it is nothing short of fascinating. Are you on pinterest?

Living with two kids and their wonderful mom for the past year has shown me a different type of life. The happiness in their eyes, and the sincerity in their laughs is so amazing. A child's innocence is the most inspiring trait we will ever come across, and I feel like a lot of us forget that. We get burden with every day issues and lose our spirit but being surrounded by them has reminded me to take life easy, enjoy more laughs, cherish your favorite people and never let the stress take over your happiness. Each day they remind me to change and cherish the things I can and accept the things I can't. If we blink too fast life will just pass us by.

Polka Dot Fun

Since summer is just around the corner, I figured it was a time for a change. When I think of change I go straight for my hair... Goodbye long hair, it is time to replenish and get my hair back to healthy!

Today's post is a casual outfit for a dinner date with my mom and boyfriend. My mom is the typical Asian mom, you will never leave her house empty handed or hungry. She told me she was craving gold fishes the other day and decided to buy the bulk size at Costco... so now Cole and I had to take some home to pack for snacks during our work week... I wonder where I get my spending habits from? But I love that lady to death.

Easter Sunday

I can't tell you how excited I am that it is Easter! Since I'm a Catholic, I participate in lent every year which is giving up things in your every day life for 40 days and 40 nights. This year I gave up facebook and the hardest one, meat (minus Seafood)! I appreciate vegetarians and vegans so much but I don't think that lifestyle is for me...

Flower Power

Today, my post is going to be simple and sweet. We had such an amazingly warm weekend, that it reignited my love for Seattle. This city is fabulous, filled with so much culture and diversity it makes me so proud to call it home.

Arts & Crafts: Disney World Outfits

I am a huge Disney fan for those of you who didn't know so when I found out my roommate was taking her babies to Disneyworld... imagine my jealousy! I mean, I was envious of a 5 year old and a 2 year old.. but it was Disneyworld! It is forever on my bucket list. But in the midst of my jealousy, my mind went berserk with all the clothing I was going to make them for their trip. This is what today's post is all about. Aside from being a Disney fan, I also do a lot of arts and crafts on the side and this project was way too much fun. Let's just say there are a lot of rainy Saturdays here in WA..

All it takes is a few white t-shirts and some disney inspired imagination. How adorable are they? 

Now it's just me and my dog in this house... They can come home anytime now!
