Romper Love

Rompers and shift dresses have been such staple items in my closet this summer! It's just so easy to put on when you are in a rush without looking like you were in a rush... if that makes sense. 

Right now I'm loving the low back cuts in almost everything, fancy dresses, simple dresses, rompers - you name and I've probably fallen in love with it. I got ready in about 20 minutes with this romper and let's just say my boyfriend was highly impressed. This hairstyle is also my go to, especially for the mornings where sleep sounds way better than doing my hair... Got to have your go to pieces.

Happy Happy Joy Joy

Nothing beats sitting on my front porch with my best friend, watching the kids play and listening to the sound of laughter around me. Not to mention it's nearly 7:30pm and it is 70 degrees outside... oh Washington you make my heart skip a beat. Moments like this is when I wish life had a pause button just so I can savor the feeling. Too bad we missed the ice cream man...

Working for the weekend

And my work week is almost over! Every time Friday rolls around, I hear my theme song playing, you know.."everyone's working for the weekend..." It's true, at least it is in my case. I love my 9-5 job but the weekends are just more my thing. 

One of the perks of my job is all the outfits I get to wear. I never thought I was a "business attire" type until I got into the mortgage business. Every morning its a party as I comb through my closet to see what I can put together for the day, and how I can spice up the normal office attire. The one thing I have learned, is that black and white will never go out of style.

Summertime Sunshine

Hi dolls! Wow, I didn't realize it's been weeks since I've uploaded a new blog! So many changes that it feels like its only been two days. Let me just give you the run down of the last 6 weeks...

My new position at work is such a challenge! I love learning new things but at the same time, it is completely out of my comfort zone to not know nor understand what is going on! It's frustrating and fabulous all at the same time. I will not be in a rut with my job for quite a while..

I've recently moved into my own place and let me tell you, decorating and setting up your own personal space is so time consuming and expensive! But I am in love with my new place and my room mate is my best friend! How convenient it is to just have her one room away. :) This was probably the biggest hold up on my blog. I think we have finally settled in...

And of course my new puppy!! Who is like a child... he so playful and friendly, he tires me out before I get a chance to tire him out. He'll make appearances throughout my blog. :)
