Plaidtastic

The down side of working a 9-5 job? The sunlight in the wintertime!! It is so hard to come home, fix myself up, and try to get pictures in before the sun hides for the night... hence the reason why the color of my pictures are so off, the sun disappeared as soon as these were done. Another thing I've learned from these pictures? I've gotta get a better camera. But it's ok, you get the gist of it. :)

As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I love a good shift dress! Naturally I fell in love with this one for Urbanog, and it was a huge hit at the office. I'm the youngest one in the office so it's always nice to know I'm not over dressing or underdressing. :) Happy Fall everyone! Rain has arrived in Washington so that's how I know summer has left...

Did I mention I am scared of heights?? You can't really tell from these pictures but I swear I am! :)

Pencil Skirts & Bowtie Shirts

Hi sunshine! Finally on a set schedule with my new job and I've got to say, I am loving every second! The people here are just as sweet as the people I left so that made my transition a whole lot easier. They welcomed me with open arms, had nothing but nice things to say and are so encouraging!

The mortgage business is a constant changing environment and I never thought I would enjoy being this involved in real estate and helping people get the homes of their dreams. Yes, you have your bad seeds but hearing people thank you for all your hard work is such a bonus. Best part is, I get to play dress up every day. :) You know what they say, girls never stop playing dress up.

Outfit Details|| Blouse: Kardashian line on sale (similar)|| Skirt: UrbanOG on sale ( similar, exact in red) || Heels: Justfab (similar) || Purse: Fred Meyers (similar)

How I feel my life has been! Constantly moving but hey I'm welcoming the changes with open arms. I'm excited to see where it will take me. :)

So sad to see summer leave but I can't wait for the holidays to start! Have a wonderful weekend.
Go Seahawks! :) xo

Green with Envy to cure my Sunday Blues

Have you guys hear the new Taylor Swift song yet? I must admit it's not my type of music but I am liking her lyrics. I'm pretty sure she's got life figured out especially in a society where people judge you or compare you to the next, it is really hard to learn to love yourself. But just like T.Swift said, shake it off! Embrace the things that make you different and surround yourself with the ones that appreciate that. Good for her!

I've got to say, every since I've met my bf I've learned new ways to look at life, look at people and look at the stuff that comes my way. He is probably the definition of T. Swift's song. He beats to his own drums and could careless what anyone says. If you've got someone in your life that shows you that and helps you appreciate everything, you should definitely keep them around. :) There is beauty in everything if we choose to look for it.

Happy hump day dolls!

Red lips: Valentine's Day Outfit #2

For some reason this outfit reminds me of summer nights and fairs, kind of like Beyonce's XO video… Or maybe it's the fact that I have on red lipstick and a leather jacket and am confusing it with Grease. Either way, I am in love with this outfit.

Here is my Valentine's Day outfit #2.

Outfit Details: Crop Top : Target (similar) || Jacket: Forever 21 || Skirt: Forever 21 (similar) || Shoes : Wetseal || Purse (Birthday gifts from my best friends!) || Jewelry : Forever 21 ||

Boots, flannel and a concert!

Last night I was presented with the opportunity to go to my first country concert -Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, and Jake Owen came to Tacoma, WA and I've got to admit, it was a lot of fun! It was an entirely different atmosphere then I'm used to.

I love any opportunity to dress a little outside my comfort zone and this concert was one of them.
I've never seen so many flannels in one place before! All different styles worn all different ways! So many cowboy boots, hats and all things country. I had a blast!

Threads: High waisted shorts: Hollister (on sale!) | white tank: Target | Flannel : Hollister | Boots: Ross

You've gotta spend nights with the people that make you laugh and smile. :) thank gosh the weekend is in sight!
