Pencil Skirt and Peplum

These few weeks have been flying by! Does anyone else feel that way? For the past two months, we have been entertaining guest from out of town left and right, and you know what it has been so much fun. I love my city. Especially when there is good weather, good company and good laughs to be had.

The weather is getting a whole lot warmer, which means the cute office outfits get to come out of the closet to play! :)

Everlasting Love

You know what I love? Couples that have been together for what seems like forever and are still madly in love with each other. I am so glad those couples still exist.

Today, I am spending my night babysitting my co workers kids while her and her husband enjoy some time to themselves. They have been married for over 11 years and the way they look at one another, the way they talk to not only each other but their kids, it only gives me hope that love and forever do go hand in hand. They are a real life fairy tale. Not to mention they raised awesome kids! All they wanted to do tonight was build a fort, watch Frozen and Tangled and call it a night, I mean how much easier can it get?

Enough rambling on my part, today's outfit was just so perfect for this topic I just couldn't help it. Something about pink and flowers just makes me think of love and romance.

Easter Sunday

I can't tell you how excited I am that it is Easter! Since I'm a Catholic, I participate in lent every year which is giving up things in your every day life for 40 days and 40 nights. This year I gave up facebook and the hardest one, meat (minus Seafood)! I appreciate vegetarians and vegans so much but I don't think that lifestyle is for me...

Outfit Details || Coral Pencil Skirt: Last year but similar here and here || Black Top: Thrifted similar here and here || Cheetah flats similar here || Juicy Couture Necklace: Here

My mom has always taught me to count your blessings and not your stressings, and I couldn't be more in love with that quote. I thought we were going to have a rainy Easter and yet, it is nice and bright outside. :) Happy Easter my loves! XO

Perks of Being a Wallflower

I am such a firm believer in retail therapy. My bank account might not agree with me but at the same time, I like to stretch my money as far as it will go. So when I can find a signature piece or even a whole outfit for less than $50, my entire day is made. :)

Outfit Details|| Wall Paper Jeggings: Macy's $15 (similar) || Peplum Top : Target $10 (similar) || Black Flats: Target $5 || Jewelry : F21 (old) || Bag: Shoedazzle (gift) ||

We may not end up where we want to, but we end up exactly where we are suppose to.

A Dash of Sweet

TGIF! :) Who doesn't get excited over that phrase? I feel myself becoming  such a workaholic lately that  I even bring my work home! But hey, you work hard to play hard and I can't wait for my trip to California next week! Some much needed sunshine with my best friends, what more could a girl ask for?

Speaking of sun, it decided to make an appearance in WA. It means summer is right around the corner and I couldn't be more excited!

Lazy Saturday

I didn't think I'd get to post today simply for the fact the weather is completely unpredictable. I was really excited when I saw sun shining through my window this morning but right before I wanted to take my pictures, it poured! It was raining hard and windy on top of that... It finally broke for a maybe half an hour so I rushed to my deck and took these as fast as I could! It definitely made for an interesting beginning to my Saturday. :)

Entire outfit was purchased at Target on sale. :)

I'm counting down the days til summer comes! :) Thanks for stopping by.

Casual Friday

Thank you sweet baby Jesus it's Friday! That means I get to sleep in tomorrow. :)  Every Friday at work we get to dress it down and keep it casual. This Friday I kept it casual with some boyfriend jeans, and added a blazer to keep it work appropriate.

I am such a fan of boyfriend jeans, and lately they have been my go to. Sometimes I dress it down with just a sweater and some flats but I'll leave that for another day. :) Happy Friday my loves!

What are you go-to pieces?

Wishing for Summertime

Happy President's day my loves! :) If you're like me, then you are still probably lounging in bed trying to get some well deserved relaxation before the regular week kicks in. Life's hectic and sometimes we forget our bodies will appreciate us more if we give it some time to relax, that is exactly what I plan on doing today! :) And maybe a little bit of hot yoga...

This outfit was inspired by Lauren Conrad's Spring line at Kohl's. I'm such a huge fan of hers, tracing back to her Laguna Beach days! She is definitely an inspiration to me and I just adore how classy and composed she is at all times, its definitely a good trait. Not to mention her style is always stylish and chic without going overboard.
