Everlasting Love

You know what I love? Couples that have been together for what seems like forever and are still madly in love with each other. I am so glad those couples still exist.

Today, I am spending my night babysitting my co workers kids while her and her husband enjoy some time to themselves. They have been married for over 11 years and the way they look at one another, the way they talk to not only each other but their kids, it only gives me hope that love and forever do go hand in hand. They are a real life fairy tale. Not to mention they raised awesome kids! All they wanted to do tonight was build a fort, watch Frozen and Tangled and call it a night, I mean how much easier can it get?

Enough rambling on my part, today's outfit was just so perfect for this topic I just couldn't help it. Something about pink and flowers just makes me think of love and romance.

Christmas Day

Merry Christmas sunshine!! :) I couldn't be happier with all that has happened this year and am so thankful for the people that have come into my life, including my followers who are now my friends!

We didn't have a white Christmas here in WA but that's ok, tomorrow morning I'm jetting off to Michigan to join my boyfriend and his family and to search for some snow. I can't wait! I love seeing how other families celebrate Christmas and I love picking up on new traditions.

We celebrated last night at my house, then my boyfriend flew out this morning and now, we are all relaxing after church. That is what the holidays are all about, spending quality time with the ones you love most. :)

Dare to bare a little skin

I love shopping just as much as the next girl, but I love it even more when I'm inspired to take something old and revamp it with a twist. In today's outfit, I took this adorable maxi I purchased when I was in California, and just shortened it to make it a maxi skirt. Paired it with a loose white tee and popped on a vest to keep it casual.

Something about docks and sunset -- I found this hidden dock while running a new route this morning and it is just so quiet and serene, I fell in love.

I should be asleep right now... but I took a longer nap today then I planned. It was meant to be a 15 minute power nap and then I was going to to the gym, but that 15 minutes quickly turned into 3 hours..

Sunshine in the NW

Hello my lovely dolls! How are we all doing? Sun has come to the NW! Granted it's only 60 degrees, but to us Washingtonians that means tank tops and shorts! Or in my case, summer dresses galore. 

"A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life"-- CoCo Chanel It took me a while to figure out what kind of changes I wanted to make in my life, but it always seems like my go to is a different hair style. I really wanted a bob cut, but when I sat down in the chair, I panicked! So I settled for a long bob and so far, I'm definitely loving it!

I found this adorable hi-low dress at ross for jus $15 dollars! At first I wasn't so sure about the colors just because its not my normal color scheme, but I was so happy with this purchase. It's still a little chilly out so it was the perfect dress to pair with some boots.

Ice Cream Bubblegum

Who got to enjoy Coachella this weekend? I'm loving all the pictures and the outfit posts from those who did. I'm definitely going to have to add that to my bucket list, either next year or the year after that... For now, I'll just stick with bright colors and imagine warm weather.

A Splash of Tribal

Hello my dolls! It's been a while. I took a hiatus and went to spend some much needed relaxation time with my girlfriends in California! I will definitely do a recap of that this week. We crammed in as much sightseeing things as we could, including Disneyland, Griffith Observatory, Little Saigon and more! If you're following me on instagram,  you already know this. :) We were so busy I didn't get a chance to take pictures for my blog, but I will definitely recreate them all soon.

This was an outfit I took before I hopped on the plane to CA. My mindset was set on summer, and shorts, dresses, sandals and all things in between. I can't wait to see what fashion trends the sun will bring out! xoxo

A Dash of Sweet

TGIF! :) Who doesn't get excited over that phrase? I feel myself becoming  such a workaholic lately that  I even bring my work home! But hey, you work hard to play hard and I can't wait for my trip to California next week! Some much needed sunshine with my best friends, what more could a girl ask for?

Rocker Chic

Lazy Saturday

I didn't think I'd get to post today simply for the fact the weather is completely unpredictable. I was really excited when I saw sun shining through my window this morning but right before I wanted to take my pictures, it poured! It was raining hard and windy on top of that... It finally broke for a maybe half an hour so I rushed to my deck and took these as fast as I could! It definitely made for an interesting beginning to my Saturday. :)

 Entire outfit was purchased at Target on sale. :)
